I have been piecing for 30 years and quilting my own tops for about 23 years. I hold an English Degree and an After Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta. Always a Northern Alberta girl, I couldn't imagine being away from Big Sky Country, where I've lived in High Prairie, Edmonton, and Grande Prairie, AB.  

My passion for quilting led me to take a master’s-level course in the History of Quilting at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, NE. Throughout the years, I've participated in several Handiquilter-specific classes in Salt Lake City and Kansas, along with many local and online classes focused on digital quilting patterns.  

As a mother of three, I've worked in a dental office, been a teacher, and owned a children's clothing store. Currently, I am thrilled about my venture into longarm quilting! Like a squirrel, I often find myself easily distracted by new quilting styles—I truly appreciate every quilting method out there. Additionally, I have a bit of an obsession with digital patterns!  

Note: My home is smoke and pet-free.

I quilt using a Handiquilter 26" Infinity Longarm with a Prostitcher for my longarm quilting projects. The computer-guided quilting technology enables precision and consistency in my designs. As for my digital quilting patterns, I have quite a few! In fact, I rely on a program called Quilt Pattern Indexer to keep them all organized. I also offer a vast selection of cotton threads, including King Tut and Masterpiece, along with Glide and Omni. My bobbin thread options include cotton, poly, or a blend. Additionally, I keep cotton and wool batting on hand to provide the best quilt services to meet your needs.
